FOUNDATION FACTS

It was a very good year!! No. It was a great year!! Thanks to all of you.

The clubs of District 7750 exceeded all expectations for Foundation giving in the Rotary year 2008-09. In spite of poor economic conditions, 1624 Rotarians (55%) made a EREY contribution to their Rotary Foundation. Contributions to the Annual Programs Fund totaled $331,333, to PoiloPlus $42,363 with total giving equaling #373,697. Congratulations to all our District Rotarians. You have Made Dreams Real for less fortunate citizens in our communities, the nation and the world.

Per capita giving for the District was $111, surpassing the $96 per capita in 2007-08. Our District showed the biggest improvement in Zone 33. The top Clubs this past year were Greater Greer ($700 per capita), York ($303 per capita) and Aiken-Sunrise ($276 per capita).

The top three Clubs in total and APF giving were amongst our largest: Greenville (Total = $38,877; APF = $38,627); Aiken (Total = $34,837; APF = $31,077) and Spartanburg (Total = $19,264; APF = $18,264)

The top three Clubs in contributions for PoilpPlus were: Greater Anderson, Aiken and Pleasantburg.

Thirty-one Clubs exceeded their Annual Programs Fund contribution goal. And McCormick County and Pickens were our only two 100% Sustaining Member Clubs. Their awards will be presented at the 2009 Foundation Seminar later this year.
